My husband and I moved to Maryville because we were both employed as professors at Northwest Missouri State University. When our son was born I "retired" from full time teaching and entered the real estate profession. I owned my own real estate company for 25 years. When my husband took early retirement from the University I sold my company and became a Broker/Salesperson at Shirley's Realty. I currently hold two advanced real estate designations- GRI (Graduate Realtor Institute) and CRS (Certified Residential Specialist). My husband and I are members of the First Baptist Church in Maryville. My husband Ron has served as Maryville's mayor as well as several terms on City Council; he is also retired from Northwest as professor of management and information sciences. Our son is a high end residential architect in Atlanta, Georgia. I enjoy golf, traveling, and helping people buy and sell their homes.
